ARChitect™ Processor Configurator

ARChitect is ARC's revolutionary configuration tool that enables licensees to unlock the power of ARC's patented CPU/DSP processors and multimedia subsystems. ARChitect enables SoC designers to create highly differentiated ARC-Based™ processors in minutes with a GUI-based development environment. ARChitect's simple drag-and-drop menu allows system-on-chip (SoC) designers to select from 20,000+ pre-configured options or create custom instruction extensions that are optimized to the 16-/32-bit ARCompact ISA.

In minutes, ARChitect generates a highly differentiated, proprietary ARC-Based processor or subsystem that consumes less power and has fewer transistor gates than can be created using a 'fixed architecture' alternative.

ARChitect outputs verified RTL and synthesis scripts that are compatible with industry-standard design flows. In addition, ARChitect generates files and scripts which create a complete set of downstream development tools for the customer's configured core, including test bench, simulators, compilers, debuggers, prototyping platform and documentation.

ARC believes in value of protecting its customers’ proprietary technology. The ARChitect tool is downloaded directly onto the SoC designer's desktop, allowing the customer to keep their designs within their own secure environment.
