Description:

Permanent positions are opened in the multimedia department. The candidate will be involved in research and development in the area of multimedia oriented applications. Please submit your resume if you meet the "MUST" requirements and at least one "helpful" qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and porting of C language source code for MQX RTOS/Linux OS running on DSP-platform;
• Participating in software design of multimedia applications, development and integration with audio and video codecs;
• Documentation (English).

Education/Experience Required:

Requirements (MUST)

• Strong C programming experience (GNU C, Microsoft Visual C);
• Experience with writing/porting applications for some RTOS;
• Familiarity with at least one DSP or RISC platform;
• Understanding multimedia basics (audio and video compression, color schemes etc);
• Good level of English (writing reports, documentation, reading specifications, communicating with foreign colleagues).

Helpful qualifications

• Familiarity with a multimedia framework (like OpenMAX, gStreamer etc). Candidate with OpenMAX experience is allowed to miss DSP/RTOS related experience;
• Experience with writing/porting low-level applications for Linux OS;
• Skills in VoIP protocols;
• Understanding Subversion and Bugzilla;
• Experience with assembly language programming.
